Draft 10-Year Sharp-tailed Grouse Plan released for comment

The draft Department of Natural Resources Sharp-tailed Grouse Management Plan for 2023 to 2033 is available for review and comment.  Many thanks to the DNR Staff, Friends groups, individuals and organizations that prepared this plan. The Friends of the Namekagon Barrens Wildlife Area (FNBWA) Board will be submitting comments.  It’s always helpful to comment both on the portions you support as well as sharing your concerns.

The draft plan is open for public comment until Nov. 17 at 11:59 p.m. Comments can be sent via email to Bob Hanson, DNR Wildlife Biologist, at Robert.Hanson@wisconsin.gov or through the mail to:
